Question:
Does anyone have before and after experiences with this drug?

Recently I saw a post regarding loss of libido and the use of Glucophage/Metformin for diabetes. I too would suggest that of recent, pre-opt and waiting for surgery and the need for this drug to go away, my desires are shallow. Will the discontinued use of this drug allow those great thoughts to return...I mean "desire"? Thanks for your thoughts...    — Lynn P. (posted on February 27, 2003)

Hi Lynn, I have been on Glucovance, which is pretty much the same thing and I too have noticed that the desires aren't there anymore. I stopped taking them a few weeks ago, my diet doesn't allow me enough carbs to take them, but I haven't noticed any change yet...I too am hoping that in time the "desires" will re-surface. Hope you the best.
