Anyone been approved through Humana PPO for TT?

Hi. I've had patients approved and denied with Humana PPO. I answered a similiar question 2 weeks ago..it's common. Just about ANY insurance company can approve any surgery. Just because another member may have had an approval (or not) does not have much to do with your chances for success. Here's what counts: Do you have medical problems from the excess skin? Have these problems been documented, photographed, and treated by your PCP for a while (months)? Do you have a PS who seems willing and able to coordinate and also present this information to the insurance company? If you answer "yes" to all these, then approval is likely...with any company who does not flat out exclude the procedure you need.
