Wha is the average Hospital stay for a lap rNy?

I underwent a lap RNY last week in Alabama. I had my surgery on Tuesday and was home on Thursday. A two day hospital stay seems pretty common for the lap procedure

Four of us in our family have now had lap RNY. Each of us had uncomplicated, two-day hospitalizations. Good luck!

I had Lap RNY on a Monday and came home the next day - Tuesday. I couldn't wait to get out of the hospital and knew I would rest better at home. I do believe that the 2 day stay is normal though, although many of my surgeon's patients go home in a day if we feel up to it.
