Question:
does anyone every drink the Coke Icee drinks?

I am one year post-op and am down 117 pounds! I never drink carbonated beverages. However, I have craved Coke, and found the Icee drinks to be really good and they don't bother my pouch. Are these ok to drink? I know they have sugar, but they don't seem to have too much carbonation. Has anyone else ever tried them?    — Lisa R. (posted on August 15, 2002)

Wow, you don't dump on those? Because Icee and Slurpee drinks have been something I have totally been craving lately. It would be nice to know I can have one again eventually. Maybe someone knows the calorie or sugar content? I would think it would be the same amount, no matter what flavor you drink.

I never experienced dumping yet(4 months po) and have had them. For people who do get dumping syndrome may want to stay away, they are sweet.

I drink Frozen Cokes, I drink Coke/sprite, I have no problems, of course not a can, but a cup ! And I have no problems !

On vacation in North Carolina this summer, I simply had to have something sweet to drink, but realized that I still couldn't handle carbonation. I got a frozen coke from Burger King, and had no problem at all. I know it has tons of sugar, but the carbonation is almost nill.
