Question:
Anyone have their plastic surgery in Mexico?

I've heard about pre-ops having their WLS in Mexico, but I'm interested in anyone having their plastic surgery in Mexico. Who did your surgery? Are you happy with the results? Thanks for any help you can give me.    — Donna W. (posted on March 22, 2003)

Hi, Donna. I didn't have my plastic surgery in Mexico, but here is a link to a Yahoo plastic surgery group and you should be able to find some people there who went to Mexico for their surgery. Hi~ Yes I did read some post about this. Go to the library and search the word Mexico, and you will find some info on this. I hope this helps! Also I'm going to be going to Ensenada,Mexico on 3-26-03 to have Open-RNY with Dr.Aguirre and plan on asking him for some info. on this, I'll try to get as much information as I can and post it on my profile. I'am sure I will be going back to Mexico for this as well!

I too am going to Mexico for my WLS surgery, after, I will also be going to Mexico for all my plastic surgery. I have found a very good surgeon in Mexico with reasonable prices. You can check out his website at WWW.genesisclinic.com Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me! I did. The Genesis Clinic is great (that's the website Jennifer just gave). Its just over the border from San Diego and Dr. Gongora is AWESOME. I've told hundreds of our AMOS family about him and would be happy to relay my experience to anyone it would help. I've been there twice last year and LOVE my results.
