Im a respiratory therapist andwoudl like an idea of how long I would need off work?

Well, I am not sure what kind of procedure you are having done, but I had an open RNY on 6-26-01 and I was able to go back to work in two weeks. Waiting three, may have helped a little more, as for energy, but I was fine. I am a hairdresser. If you have a LAP, I hear that the healing time is even quicker. Just remember that everyone is different, and you have to take into consideration how quick of a healer you normally are. I hope I helped!
