Question:
CAN I SEE YOUR PANNICULECTOMY PICS?

I JUST HAD MY PICS FOR APPROVAL FOR A PANNICULECTOMY SENT TO THE INS. CO. THIS WEEK. DOC SAYS I'LL LOSE ABOUT 20-25LBS. WHICH WOULD PUT MY AT ABOUT 150 LBS. HE SAYS (YAY). DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY BEFORE PICS. OF THERE PANNI SURGERY WHO ALSO HAD ABOUT 20-25 LBS REMOVED. THANKS    — tracy W. (posted on August 19, 2004)

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I just had a TT and hernia repair 3wks ago, and they took appx 6 pounds. It is amazing how big a difference just that small amt makes. I wish you well.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures yet. I had my abdominalplasty 10 days ago and I am waiting for the incision to heal enough to take pictures or measurements. I had 8 lbs. of skin removed, but I had been hoping for close to 15 lbs. I am totally amazed at the difference. My stomach is totally flat now, even with all the swelling. My surgeon told me it would take 3 to 6 months for the swelling to go down and for me to see the end result. I came home from the hospital weighing the exact same as I did the morning of surgery, so I know I am swollen and full of the IV fluids. Good luck to you. This is the second best decision I made next to having my WLS.

Hi Traci Just clicked on your profile to see your pictures and there aren't any. Disappointing when no pictures are on the profile. Sorry. I had panni and hernia repair 7 mos again and I am very happy! my belly button is really cute and round. Tummy is NOT perfectly flat but it looks like a naturally slightly rounded tummy. 8 lbs was removed from my panni. Good luck!
