Question:
Has anyone tried the Vita4life Liquid Protein Packets?

This new form of protein is offered on this site, but does it taste good? I am still looking for the mircale pill that I can take and get all my protein in one shot! Has anyone found it? If not would someone please invent it for me, I promise there would be a great market for it. Thanks!    — Shelly T. (posted on June 28, 2000)

Sorry Shelly, I wish it was that easy to take a pill and not drink that nasty protein. But you just have to suffer just like the rest of us who don't like that nasty protein drink. Good Luck!!!! By the way if you happen to come across a pill like that please let me know.

I tried it, and thought it was initially ok, but couldn't tolerate to eat the whole package at once. The problem with only eating a part of the package is that accoding to the company, once opened it loses its protein effectiveness in a short period of time, so you end of wasting it if you don't eat it right away. I use a liquid protein (cherry flavor) made by Challenge sold at GNC. 3 tblsp = 17 g protein and 88 calories. I mix it with my Crystal Light. So far it's the only protein I can tolerate. Good luck!

I love Vita4life. I mix 1 packet with a quart of water and a pinch of crystal light. It is much easier to drink and carry than the powder supplements. I had my surgery on 1/25/01. I went to South Africa on 2/24/01 for a week and to Trinidad for 5 days on March 21. For both trips I took 2-3 packets of Vita4life liquid protein a day with water and a pinch of crystal light. I also took a multivitamin. I was able to keep up my energy level and keep of with everyone. I had a great time on both trips because of this liquid protein. It takes me about an hour to sip down an entire quart of water but, I feel great!!! Vita4life is coming out with a new flavor, orange creamcicle at the end of the month. I am going to go through the process of having getting my insurance to help pay for it, but it has been well worth the price!
