hi there im not sure exactly where you are located but i just heard of a
support group in ottawa il thats for pre op and post op next one is march

We have a support group open to all who are interested in WLS,pre or post
op. We meet in Arlington Heights on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.

I know of 3 different ones. There is one at Good Samariatan Hospital
in Downers Grove once a month don't know what day though. There is one in
Gurnee the first Tuesday
of every month. Their schedule is on the website www.gurneesupport.com and
the one i go to is in Evanston
at St Francis Hospital the last Thursday of every month 7-9.
They are all open to pre ops, post ops, family and friends.

Little Comapny of Mary just started a program I suggest you call the
hospital for details. Good Luck! 7 weeks post-op and 37lbs

There is a WLS support Group at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood - meets
every second Wednesday evening of the month at 5:00PM.
