Today is the 1st of January 2003. I am 1 year and three months post op. I am at 188 pounds. I am now driving. I have bought myself a 2003 PT cruiser inferno Red in October to celebrate my new life being 1 year post op and in Novemeber after Thanksgiving I adopted a 2 year old Pekeneese, he is the love of my life. We walk 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening. I am only on 1 medication now vs the 13 I was on prior surgery. No high blood pressure, no diabetes. Still have neuropathy and weakness in my legs but we are working on that. I am happy, healthier than ever in my life. Thank you once again Dr. Overcash for giving me a new life. Gwen F

Today is my one year anniversary. It has been a great year of up and downs. I can definetely say that is worth it all in the end. I can run, walk, and keep up with everyone now. I have gone to Vegas, South Carolina, Parties. It is amazing the changes in me. Best of luck to everyone waiting for surgery and postop's and preop's. Angel hugs. Gwen F

Thank all of my wonderful Amos family in response to my plea for help. I am trying with God's help to get back on track and do my program each day.
