Hi Laurie, at 3 weeks out you should only be eating a few bites at a time. One cup is way too much. I ate about 2-3 oz of food at the most at 2-3 weeks. You don't drink with your meals because it will allow you to eat more which will defeat the purpose of your surgery. At one year post op I am now eating maybe 6-8 oz of food. Slow down and don't worry about only being able to eat a few bites! Best wishes to you!
