Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in downtown Phoenix has been providing care to the community since 1911 and is a flagship hospital within Banner Health. In June 2005, Banner Good Samaritan was named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This honor recognizes our commitment to excellent patient care and places Banner Good Samaritan in the top two percent of all U.S. hospitals for nursing care. Banner Good Samaritan's bariatric program was named a Center of Excellence by United Healthcare.

OUR PROGRAM
The Banner Good Samaritan Bariatric Center offers a comprehensive program designed to help patients successfully achieve weight loss through bariatric surgery and a variety of support programs.

Patients are educated, reassured and supported through every step of the process including pre-surgical and post-surgical care. In partnership with a diverse team of certified bariatric surgeons, patients can rely on the Banner Good Samaritan Bariatric Center for the following services:
