Hello! I am scheduled for RNY on Wednesday, November 12th and looking for others with the same date. I start my two week liquid diet tomorrow and I am nervous and very excited. Can't wait to get started...

Not the same date but wanted to congratulate you on your date anyway.  It is such an exciting time.

I am having gastric bypass rny on November 12th at 12:00pm in Charlotte N.C I have started the liquid diet i'm NERVOUS and a little SCARED I just want to get it over with. My goal is to weigh at least 150 lbs do u have a goal weight?

I am also scheduled for Laparoscopic RNY on Nov. 12th.  I started my 2-week preop diet today (I'm only liquids the last 3 days).
I'm getting very anxious.

Glad to see we are surgery sisters. Hope the start of the two week diet is going well for you both. I am on Optifast. The chocolate and vanilla are okay, but the strawberry was horrible! What kind of diet are you guys on?

Mine seems to be a lot better than a lot of people I've talked to!

Days 1-11 is strict 1200cal/day.
Days 12-13  General Liquids
Day 14 Clear Liquids and bowel prep.

I'm in Day 2 of the 1200cal/day.  Yesterday was easy until the evening.  I'm definitely an evening/night eater and I was feeling REALLY head hungry.  I really had to focus on other things and drink water like it was going out of style to get me through the evening.  I'm hoping it gets easier!!!

I'm on The carnation instant breakfast in the morning, in the afternoon strictly sugar-free drinks and water and at night the same things plus viatamins B12 in the am, Multi Vitamin in the am, Calcium in the am. at night same vitamins minus the calcium.

That is if I can get the sleeve. I have heard nothing but bad about the VBG...
