Just got a November Surgery Date!!

Looking for people to start and go through the journey with together. I'm having the Vertical sleeve done at Scripps in La Jolla, Ca. I'm super nervous as I've never had a surgery or any kind before. I'm also looking for a fitness buddy for both before and after the surgery!

I'm November 5. I'll be your buddy. I'll only be a bit ahead of you. :) I'm sure there will be more people soon once we get to October. I am actually glad I have the extra time to prepare. At first I was like it is so far away, but now I feel like I'm zooming towards it and I'm getting nervous. 

My surgery date is Nov 5th as well....Yahoo....It does seem so far away, but I am using the time to get prepared as well.

It seems so far away but then away we'll blink and it'll be here. My doc wants me to get up to walking 10,000 steps per day pre-surgery. So ive got work to do!

New to this site. I also just received my surgery date, Nov. 20th also!! Mixed emotions, scared, nervous, and anxious. Can't wait...

November 5th as well.  My hubbies surgery date is that as well.  I'm getting very anxious.

I just got my surgery date....Nov 6!  I'm just worried I haven't lost enough & he's going to change it tomorrow at my preop appt!  So nervous!  But super excited!!

I have my date now too... its 11/19/13 and I am freaking out!
