I'm back

I was discharged from the Weight Wise clinic last May after losing 45# with diet and exercise. I did pretty well until September, when I had a bad fall, couldn't work out for 6 weeks and regained 12#.

I've been desperately struggling to relose that 12# ever since and finally decided I need help. I called my nurse (Janine) on Tuesday and she told me that although I'll need another referral from my GP I'm very welcome to return. Such relief!

She told me to just maintain my weight, get journaling, track my exercise and I should be back in the clinic within a month or so. I don't know at this point if I'll get surgery or some other form of help, but it's got to be better than trying on my own and crying all the time!

... its a life long process ... and don't we all know how hard it is!  ... whether you have surgery or not, we can all benefit from those lifestyle changes.  Good luck and forge on!

Welcome Back Kelly-Anne,

Back to Basic girl, one step at a time. You've already made a major accomplishment by calling Janine and coming back to the group. You can do it, have faith in yourself.

Kee.
