Happy Easter to everyone and Passover..

I have a question, i was wondering if any one knows about a discount card for us that had wls that we could get a childs meal instead of a regular meal? i had one but with moving and everything i lost it and dont remember the site to go to ,to print one out . any help would be appreciated. i do hope every one is having a great day and hope everyone has a great weekend.

I just ask if can order a kids meal and tell them way and i have no problem ordering kids meals now. If they want yours business they will let you order kids meals

I carry one but never use it. All I do is explain that I don't eat a huge portion due to my rny and they are always accomodating. If this is uncomfortable for you, your surgeon's office or nutritionist might have one.

There's a link on OH somewhere too. (Do a search on Restaurant card and it should come up). But I have never used the one I got from my surgeon. I just order what I want. I don't even say why. I just order from the kids menu or the seniors menu or the regular menu (and box what I don't eat) as I see fit. No one has ever said "boo" to me about it.

Most restaurants don't care if you have the card or not. They won't let you order off the kids menu. You will just have to look around and find one that will.

I found that those "cards" were very disappointing. Whether they are honored or not, it's up to the management of the restuarant. Some restuarant chains have policies against using them. Other restuarants just think you're wanting a kiddie meal to save money. I even had one manager tell me he could have printed that card on his home computer. I rarely go out and when I do, I either get an extra plate to share a meal, or order off of the ala carte menu. I gave up even trying to use the card within a few months of surgery. DAVE

I've had a place discount me one day and not the next..they tend to alternate..when they need the money on slow days, they wont discount you but when they're busy they discount. I told them to either discount or don't ...to stop giving me the run around. Personally I think it's bull because if you go to a buffet there's no way you can eat enough to cover the $10+ you're paying lol but whatever it makes it more of a treat eh?
