I am doing the liquids like I am supposed to and I am not actually hungry.. But my stomach doesn't stop growling and it gets pretty uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do to make that part go away?

I am not having any nausea or anything, just the stomach growling (seems like it is non-stop)

Wow -- I remember having the same thing.  It was so loud!  I didn't do anything for it, but it eventually stopped but it took a couple of weeks if I remember right.

Somwetimes growliness can be from air/gas, so burping and tooting will eventually help. Beyond that, there's not a lot you can do. It will go away eventually.

I forgot mine used to do that till the other night after I'd had baked (vegetarian) beans as part of my meal.  When the rumbly-in-my-tumbly (obsessive Winnie the Pooh fan) started, I remembered why I had that box of Gas-X strips in my cupboard.

Hi Ambelina,

I see you're in Salem, Or  I am down in Roseburg, Last year I spent 3 months there at the Salem hospital w/husband for cancer treatment. I had put off having my lap band untill this month, 6/27
so I'm hoping good results from having this. Some responses I got from this forum about lap bad, wasn't good, saying I should rethink this. Have you had good outcome? Any regrets?

Thanks,
Christine

This is the kind of hunger rumbling - My stomach growling, not really the gas pains - Will the Gas X help with that?

Are you doing your liquids every 2 to 2 1/2 hours?  If not, it probably is true hunger.  I was supposed to have my meals/snacks that often in the beginning.

I am 7 days post op and I had the same thing a few days ago. It was like a hungry growl too. I found that drinking really helped with the growling. It got better after I was able to have heartier soups and a yogurt.

Congratulations on your surgery
