I received an email yesterday from my doctor's office letting us know that applications for the surgery through the state network will be available online in June.  It is very exciting!

DOES THIS MEAN ALL THE INSURANCE THROUGH JOBS OR INDIVIDUAL PLANS HAVE TO COVER WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY?

It's my understanding that this means state and school employees who are on the State health insurance plan (BCBS State/AHS).  I don't think it covers all group or individual insurance plans in the State.
