As we all know, football season is here!! YAY! With that being said, a lot of us will have tailgate parties, people over to watch the "Big Game" or just want to hit the couch "the family" to cheer on your favorite team. I have a really good Bean Dip recipe I would like to share with you guys. I made this today for my hubby and I to enjoy as we relaxed and settled in for a day of "Big Games".

Bean Dip

1 can FF Refried Beans
1/2 c sweet onion, finely chopped (minced if possible)
jalapeno peppers (I use the pickled ones in a jar), diced (as many or as few as you like)
1/2c of your favorite picante sauce
1/2 pack of taco seasoning plus a dash of cumin
1/2c shredded cheddar or montery jack cheese

Mix first 5 ingredients in a sauce pan over medium low heat. Simmer about 10 minutes until heated well. Add shredded cheese, stir well, turn heat to low and simmer for about 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and place in a plastic container w/lid. Serve right away or allow to sit for awhile.

***The longer it sits, the better it gets!!

It's good with tortilla chips, but to keep it healthy, it is GREAT with celery sticks.

Oh, and might I add:  HOTTY TODDY!!!!
