Absolutely Depressed

I found out in my dietary meeting today that if you have a BMI over 50 the surgeon will not operate on you.  My BMI is 57.  I'm so sad and depressed I can't stop crying; I feel like all of my dreams of being healthy and losing weight have been shattered.  I really need help/support. Please....help me.

who is your surgeon?

I'm not completely sure but I"m going through Sanford so I think it is going to be Tim Monson.

He was mine.  It does not mean you cannot have surgery, just that you may have a little work to do first.  It is a safety thing. 

Are you going to the support group meetings that meet at Sanford?  If not, I would suggest that.  Good Luck and the work is well worth it.
