HEALTHCHOICE ANYONE??!!!

AM I STUCK OR WHAT?! I HAVE HEALTHCHOICE WHERE THEY WON'T EVEN DISCUSS THE SURGERY AND THEY ADVISE ME TO CHANGE TO PACIFICARE THAT PAYS FOR THE SURGERY BUT DOES NOT USE ANY OF MY DOCTORS AND I HAVE TO WAIT TILL JAN 1 TO START THE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN.....I AM THINKING ABOUT PAYING FOR THE SURGERY AND IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG AFTER I WILL JUST HAVE TO GO BANKRUPT I GUESS??!! ANY SUGGESTIONS???? KEN/EDMOND OK.

HealthChoice WILL NOT pay for the surgery at all. There isn't a way around it, sorry, it is written as an exclusion. It's also my understanding that they will not cover any complications you have from the surgery if you self-pay. I've heard that there are some people who are wanting to sue, but don't know who they are. Your best bet is to switch to PacifiCare. You can't do anything until Jan 04, although you will have to make your option changes starting on Monday, 9-29. I have PacifiCare and was approved within a week of my doctors office sending in the paperwork, first time.
