Ok Teachers! How did we do?
My son and I had so much fun getting the little gift ready for his teacher and this is what we came up with based on your suggestions AND based on an idea my son just couldn't let go of.

Then my husband and I included a Thank you card from us with a 30 dollar LCBO card so she can get some "summer beverages" but my son doesn't know about that one. LOL

I used to give my kids' teachers a flat of bedding plants and herbs that I would plant into a cheap thing from dollar store for them to take home to their garden. We would add a personalized stake with a little sign. I figured it would last longer than cut flowers and, thankfully, not nearly as long as ANOTHER coffee mug!

Thanks everyone! : ) I'm so sad I was at work today and didn't get to see him give it to her! I really love it when you come across some exceptional teachers - really feel you need to show them your appreciation because I know for a fact that his teacher did a lot of work in her off time.
