Just wondering any good websites to look up the track record of your surgeon? I have a friend who had surgery done by Dr Sullivan 7 months ago, and she has had no complaints so far..but I would love to be able to look into him a bit more..as I am seriously scared shi*less! I know there is ratemds.com...but there aren't many reviews on him on that site. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

I cancelled a couple of my appointments with surgeon, social worker, nurse ect, but now have them rebooked, and I have a different surgeon! Instead of Dr Sullivan, I have Dr.Sohi!

The only site I trust for doctor info is the College of Physicians and Surgeons website. You can also call them and find out if there have been any issues/complaints with/about the surgeon in the past.
I dont trust websites that have patients rate doctors only because it's not the most reliable information.

I think you can also look up doctors on the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons website.

That's a good thing. No reviews means no complaints. If you call the College they can tell you if there's anything pending or any past issues. On the website they only keep complaints and disciplinary info up for a few weeks.
I did that when I was researching my own surgeon. I figured if this man is going to cut into me and re-arrange my insides, I want to know everything I can about him.

I had Dr. Sullivan do surgery on me Nov. 1 2011. He is a fantastic doctor, his bedside manner is fantastic, will answer all and any questions you have. I seen him 1 month after surgery and explained everything i needed to go with my new tool. I would recommend him to anyone getting bariatric surgery. Good luck with surgery.
You are better just to ask here...although I'd do a post with his name as the title to grab people's attention as not every one may open this thread with such a nondescript title. You'll find far more patients of his here than any other site.
