Mississauga folks - update on Wendy
So the Mississauga people will know that wendy had a few surgeries (at the same time) last week, and according to her husband, she has sailed through them all with flying colours.
Her thigh lift, tummy tuck, arm lift and hysterrectomy took over 7 hours on Friday.
She was in hospital at 6 am, went into surgery at 8:30 am, went into recovery at 4:30 pm and was moved into a room that night.
She will be released from hospital today apparently.
We can only assume it will be with a major shipment of painkillers.
She says the swelling was bad on the second day. She was able to get up and walk around, which is excellent.
She's still wearing the compression garments, so a little uncomfortable - but blood clots are so scarey, I do think the doc's are right in making her wear that.
I'll update as I hear more.

Hooray for Wendy! She sent me a funny email asking to get the plate of the truck that hit her. LOL
Very glad she's on her way home! Thank you for the update! xo
