Well finally the day has come so I am just packing do I have to bring my daily vitamin, b12 and calcium or do they provide that?

I'm not sure which center you're going through, but TWH gave me my meds and we didn't do vits until we got home.

TEGH told me not to bother bringing in any non Rx things.

i don't know where you are, but in Ottawa all medications, prescription and otherwise, were provided.

Short answer? No.

Longer answer, I guess, would be "it depends". What were you told? What does your pre-op information package say?

I wouldn't worry to much about the vits until you get home. Just trying to ge****er and protein and prescription meds in will be all you need worry about for a day or two.

I took mine...was glad because I didn't have the right ones....so when I got home I took them back and got the right ones....what centre are you at.

In Ottawa, the nutritionist and the APN visit you while you are still in the hospital. The nutritionist wants to make sure you have what you need before discharge. So either write down what vitamins and supplements you have or bring them along.
