Well you would think I would learn by now ....I just can't eat pasta.....or rice but especially pasta. I always grab a few bites when making dinner for the family and I always regret it....now I feel like crap and knew as I ate it I would feel like this.....can you say idiot! its a really good reminder about the long term effects of WLS its a good deterrent to never overeat certain foods again. Well just gave myself a good kick in the arse....I will proberely do it again in a few weeks but for now will suffer for my stupidity ...

I find I do the same thing, there are a few things that don't sit well now but my family still loves, so I will cook and take a nibble, just like you pasta is aweful now, any kind of bread, some veggies that are over cooked and mushy like broocoli or cabbage both I loved before surgery and peaches are the worst now as well but I still try a nibble and I wonder if its habit or wishful thinking like maybe this time it won't make me feel like crap. hopefully I will learn but for now I'm thankful that I have stopped nibbling on the unhealthy foods I was choosing before the surgery.
