Deodorant - post op
I am almost 6 weeks post op and have a strange (to me) question. I am a long time user of Lady Speedstick watermelon scented deodorant .
Post op I am noticing that the same deodorant is not working like it used to. My body is not absorbing it and the nice watermelon scent is not there when I mildly sweat. Is this a normal occurrence for deodorant to not work like it used to before surgery? Should I try another brand? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Me ! So I started making my own.
It's just coconut oil, baking soda and whichever essential oil you want. Google it if you are so inclined :)
Plus I have horribly cystic breasts and find going natural has helped that a little for some reason.
The only downside is I have to keep it in the fridge in the summer and find I forget sometimes ! PU !!

Please do not forget that at this stage your body is most likely in ketosis. Even your pee doesn't smell right. So no wonder your old deodorant doesn't work. Your tongue is probably funky smelling too.
This too shall pass and the watermelon smelling deodorant will probably work again.
