I feel like that now sometimes and am nowhere near having surgery...you will be fine.  Its this waiting that plays with our minds and gives us too much time to think about things.  Do you have a therapist you can talk to or a friend or family member? Hope you feel less freaked out soon, you are almost there!

You will just transition into it as an expected next phase, don't sweat it, you 'll do fine

I'm just finishing day 2 on Opti. So far the head hunger has been much louder than the tummy hunger. I'm enjoying the taste so far and am shocked that my tummy isn't rumbling all day. , I've just tried to keep myself busy in order to keep distracted. Its amazing what we can accomplish when we put our minds to it. Best of luck to you

I know it is nerve racking and it can be difficult to think your entire life of eating is going to be different.  You will feel better about it once you start Opti.  I have just finished my 11th day.  I still think about all the things i will no longer be able to eat but then remind myself why I am doing it.  It's ok to cry even if you don't know the reason....it is a good way to relieve stress. and anxiety. The Opti may make you feel very sick for the first 2-3 days but know that it does improve a great deal after that.  Best of luck with the Opti
