If you look up to the upper right hand corner of this page you will see a magnifying glass - click it and type stall, stalls etc.

I can't lead you in the direction of the info your looking for but I just want to say that I am 5 weeks out tomorrow and I have stalled myself at just around two weeks and right now my weight hasn't changed since I weighed last Tuesday. You can't let it drive you nuts. Your body has to have time to recover from the trauma we have put it through. It also needs to catch up the weight you have already lost thus far.

Stay away from the scales, they will only drive you crazy!!! As long as your doing everything you should, there is no reason to worry. Have you measured yourself? Or go by your clothing. I've seen a difference already in how my clothing fits. It's wonderful!!

so throw them scales away!! You got this!!

I'll be 5 weeks out tomorrow and I haven't lost anything for about 8 days now.  It's frustrating but I was expecting it.  I know it's impossible to NOT lose weight with what we are eating now so I have to remind myself to be patient and wait for scale to move again.

Good luck!!  See you on the other side of the stall

Thanks for the tips. I'm not stressing at all, just wanna read of those who have gone before me. All the best to all of you :)

I hope you found the information.

I stalled at about 3-4 weeks post-op as well. I yo-yo'ed until week 6, toying with the same 2-3 lbs.

Finally, around the 5 and a half week mark, I said, "Enough!" and I took the measuring tape. I was shocked and surprised to find that even though the scale wasn't budging, I had lost a total of 10 inches in those few weeks. I was thrilled!

And two days ago, my stall broke... down 5 lbs. This morning, down another pound. It just took that time for my body to catch up and say, "Hey, what are you doing, girl?!" Read Dawn's post (linked above). She has some great info in there. We all hit stalls. The trick is to power through them and keep on swimming! (To echo Dory from "Finding Nemo.")

Best of luck to you. You CAN do this!
