getting help with sugery

I was wondering if anyone had sponsers to help pay for their sugeries, or if their insurance paid for theirs? My insurance will not pay for the procedure, and I cannot afford to pay for it, but would do just about anything to have it done. I would love so much to be normal for once in my life. Sandra, I know that lots of different people have attempted putting together a foundation or organization to help fund those of us for whom paying for surgery is an impossibility. I wish I had the money to give you, sweetie. Have you considered legal action? Do you have a family member who would make you a loan? Do you have an IRA that you can tap into? Remember - self-paying is tax deductible, too. Sometimes that helps a bit. You're in my prayers! dina
