Weight Loss Clinic Harrisburg- Dr. Scott currie..... PLEASE HELP... need info

Hi,

I was a patient of Dr. Currie in 2007. I noticed that Dr. Currie is no longer with the practice.

Can someone tell me what happned? Where did he go?


As his former patient i'd like to know his updated where abouts in case i exprience any complications as he was my original surgeon.

Can another doc in that'practice see you? Or can you transfer your records to another doctor? (Hershey or Lancaster?)

Yea...infact thats what im in the process of doing. However I'd still like to get information on what happned to him.

I think one of my husbands co workers had surgery there but not sure if he was her doctor. I'll ask him to check to see if she knows anything when he sees her!

Hi there...started my journey with Dr. Currie in May 08....he did my lapband surgery and then removed it due to complication in Aug 08.

I started again in Jan of this year with him and was going for bypass.
Everything was going fine...he did my UGI in March and had my next appt scheduled with him and got a call without an explanation that he would no longer be practicing there.

A friend of mine had bypass in January of this year and she heard that he might be opening his own practice in or near Carlisle.

oh wow! Whos doing your surgery now?

must be some internal conflict cause i noticed they added a couple new Dr's and are now a full part of the hospital insted of an affiliate.

But Dr. Currie is great and he would do well in Carlisle!

wow,, i didn't even know that he had ledt the practice.. I jad seen him in December after my second hospitlization  for an upper GI bleed...
