I am sorry.. I am just so excited that I have to tell everyone!!!

NSV First:

1st - This weekend - I did my first 5k post-op race and I had three goals. 1 - Not be last (I have always been last in every 5k that I have done), 2 - Complete in under an house, 3 - Get a medal (First 314 complete got a medal)

Well - I was 8th from last, I was 2nd to last in my age group so I did not finish last! :),  I completed the 3.14 in 57 minutes and 36 seconds, UNDER an hour.  Finally,  I was number 366 to cross the finish line, but my husband gave me his medal! :)

Scale Victory:  I Am Officially in the 200's,  I weight in this morning at 299.3! YEY!  No more seeing that stupid 3 in front of my number!

The fact that you even ran a 5k at 300 lbs is frankly OUTSTANDING!  I am so beyond impressed!  I just did my first 5k last weekend at 157 lbs.  I would never have had the balls or gumption to do it at 300.  You are awesome.  Keep going :)

Congrats, what an accomplishment. I am truely inspired. I have wanted to do a 5K for years but havent been brave enough. Maybe now I will set goals like yours and just try one. Thanks for inspiring me.

I run and walk it.  I use run double app for my phone.  It doesnt seem like much but I can now run in 3 minute spurts.  My husband is the runner and has helped me so much.  when he finished with a 38 minute ime he actually found me and did the last 1/2 mile with me.
