G'morning all!

QJB - congrats on adulting: paycheck, Dr appointments, and travel.

QOTD: we have a cement ship (SS Palo Alto) that is not to everyone's liking. Every year there is somebody posting that the ship finally disintegrated and is gone. I fooled my kids last year with that pic; for them it's their childhood, for me it's an eyesore and stinks of fish and bird poop when you walk on the beach. This year I was fooled because somebody put the banner of in-n-out saying they are coming to Santa Cruz. I got excited for a short minute.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Scrambled eggs w/shredded cheese
  • Fluffy yogurt , jello
  • Protein style buffalo chicken with legendary chips
  • E: 6 miles wog

Happy taco Tue!

QOTD- Wordscapes puzzle of the day all of the words were backwards. No wonder I couldn't figure it out.

It's supposed to get to 72 today, hooray! But tomorrow and for the rest of the week it is going to rain. So I need to get out today!

I finished reading A Gentleman in Moscow on Sunday. I really liked it, but probably won'****ch it since I don't have Showtime. I looked up the Metropol Hotel in Moscow and it is absolutely gorgeous.

On Humble Bundle they have 30 knitting books. Some of them look good, but do I really need 30 of them? The minimum is $18 so that is a deal. The proceeds go to breast cancer research so I'll probably buy them just to support them.

The Keurig machine is still invaded by ants, so I've been having tea. I forgot how much I like tea. I bought some different flavors and am enjoying them.

Have a great day everyone!

Burn the Keurig and get a new one, please!
Just the idea of ants makes me scratch myself non stop.

Morning gang. I've gotten rid of the cookies, cakes, and mashed potatoes. All I have left is roast beef and ham. So it's back to normal after today. No more holiday cooking!

I skipped the Red Sox at Oakland last night. I was beat, after watching a weekend of games in Seattle on late night tv. All of these 10pm games are rough. Normal food. Normal schedule please.

No April Fools jokes. But this one tool company comes up with a ludicrous new tool every year and advertises it. Here's one of my favorites: https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/afd/veritas-dodeca-gauge
