my surgen didn't want me to eat 12 hours before surgery, your tummy will be empty by then,

that 12 hour of NO EATING is more for the anesthesia so we dont throw up or crap all over our doctors. Remember our bowels need to be emtpy too!!!! No eating at least 2 days prior or what ever your surgeon says.

Every surgeon is different. I have to go on a 14 day liquid diet before my surgery. We will see how that goes. LOL. You should have met with your nutritionist. Your surgoen know what is best for you. I hope you get some clarification.
