Chipotle and nothing to drink!

I had a chipotle spice chicken drummette- and it set my mouth on fire it took a lot of patience to wait 35 minutes till I could drink some milk to cool off!  But I did it!

So if your gonna have something spicy make sure it's not so spicy you cant handle it without drinking for a halfhour!

You can swish some cold milk around in your mouth and spit it out if you're mouth is on fire.

A small amount of sour cream can help also.

You can also chew on a low carb tortilla. The theory is that liquid (though it feels cooling) actually spreads the hot oils around your mouth. Bread or a tortilla absorbs the oil, making it burn less.

As for hot stuff: I was mixing red hot in with cream of chicken soup on day 5 post-op! I LOVE spicy foods and couldn't have lived without it!

Those were all good suggestions.

I was actually in my car- so I didn't have anything else.  I was on a road trip and tried to find something on the menu I eat at home.  I eat hot wing drummies all the time- but mine at home were no where near as spicy as this chipotle wings.

No it did not cause heartburn- just mouth burn. ;)
