A-Ha! moment

My daughter (19 y/o) & I were out shopping yesterday. I was looking at a pair of shorts and she says those shorts will make you look fat. My response was "I'm not fat anymore." This is the first time I realized this. My daughter wasn't trying to be mean. I look to here for advice regarding clothes, since I've been hiding away for the past several years due to my weight. My daughter said "Mom, I know your not and  glad you finally noticed." 

I never thought I would never stop seeing myself as anything "but the fat lady."

what a great moment... I can't wait for those moments
