Are ABS ever possible

So I see all the time before and after pics in magazines where the people go from beergut to ABS after whatever diet is being promoted. So has anyone on this forum ever gotten defined abs after they accomplished there weight loss goals.

Its just that I never had abs and I can accept the possibility of it never happening, but it would be nice to know that it can be done.

Anyone have a defined nice looking tummy. Anyone brave enought to post any bragging pics.

 I am a middle aged woman and have had three large babies. I have abs, but I can't see them! I can feel them under my "giggly puff". I'm thinking only plastic surgery will reveal them.

Unfortunately if you have too much excess skin you will not be able to see them...that doesn't mean they won't be there.  I had plastics and now after the swelling is down...I can see mine somewhat...especially when I stick to very low carbs.  When I eat carbs, I retain more glycogen and they go back into hiding mostly.  So it's skin and diet.
