Rumblings
Just an observation as I sit in bed with my computer on a Saturday morning. All is quiet. But I can hear my stomach/intestines/whatever making all sorts of noise. I'm actually kind of enjoying listening to it. Is that strange? It's just that I don't recall ever hearing my stomach making ANY noise before I had surgery. Maybe it was always so full that whatever was in it muffled the noise. It's sort of like I'm getting to know a new part of myself that I didn't know was there before. Anybody else have this experience?
Mine amuses me slightly and my daughter no end. She likes to put her head down and listen in the morning right after I take my pills. Rumbly (my name for my sleeve) is especially vocal when I take my morning meds.
The name, by the way, comes from Winnie the Pooh: "I've got a rumbly in my tumbly."
I've seen a few posts from folks who are upset by it, but I've gotten used to it and only notice it occasionally.
