Unusual pain 6 months post op

My DH has been having some strange symptoms as of this week. It started with a pain in the chest and stomach after drinking cold liquid. When he takes deep breathes his chest sometimes hurts. Then for a day or two he had a low grade fever. And now as of today his stomach is bothering him.

We are scheduling for an appointment asap but work won't let him off soon unless it's an emergency because of the holiday.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any of these symptoms or know what might be going on.

I am a nurse(definately not a dr) the only things that come to mind to me are heartburn, ulcer or even GI Bleed.

His symptoms sound alot like the ones I had last summer when I was hospialized for a GI Bleed.

Thank you! I thought of an ulcer or heartburn but I didn't think of a GI bleed. I had him take some prescription heartburn meds but that didn't relive the symptoms.

He just told me that the pain is moving from side to side. And also that this started after vomiting.
