Ok - it's going to be about 105 today so I'm looking for ways to burn calories today.  Went to boot camp early this morning.  Don't belong to a gym so that's out.  Plan on cleaning out the garage - any other ideas on how to burn about another extra 500 - 1,000 calories??  Burned about an extra 1,000 at Six Flags yesterday - gotta match it today!!!

If you are planning on staying indoors, I would recommend cleaning the walls.  you will be amazed on how many calories you will burn and it is a great workout.

Yesterday I met with a trainer at the gym. Today I am swimming laps at the pool. My plan is to rotate - gym/swim/gym/swim/gym/weekend :P Its the goal. Its a new habit. I'm not totally feeling it yet! lol

I have three dogs that I walk at a park that has a mile track around it.. Also, I am seeing my doctor tomorrow and hoping to be cleared for swimming, and if so I will be walking laps in the pool tomorrow.

I have an ellpitical at home as well, that I use, and my parents are a member of a club, they have a gym in it..

It is hot and humid here too, so when I am outside I try and do things in the morning.

Six Flags over Texas - Arlington.  Have season passes so my sister and I went out to ride "grown up rides" that the kids can't ride.  Had a great time - it was the perfect morning - we walked on to the most popular rides!  YEA for season passes so you can just go for a couple of hours!

Agree that it might be too hot for much outside activity today. Household chores indoors should burn a lot of them.

omg, did a yoga dvd last night (ouch!). Got up for the gym at 4am today. Walked 15 minutes on treadmill (incline 8 at 3mph), then this rope puller thing for 10 minutes, then elliptical for 35 minutes..about 700 calories burned in one hour.

Kicked butt!

Wow!  I'm impressed!!  So far I'm almost to 1,000.  Boot camp for an hour, cleaning garage and working in the yard for a little over 2 hours.  Taking a break before doing the inside cleaning!
