Was sleeved early morning July 18th. Was home by the afternoon July 18th

I was sleeved Monday morning at 7:15 A.M. My surgery went great. My doctor did have to repair a hiatal hernia. " I hear that it is common". At 3:00 P.M I was cleared and discharged. That afternoon at home I had A LOT of gas pain. I sipped, walked, rested, and repeated until I couldn't anymore. Then I went to bed. The next morning I felt better, no more gas pain. I have been sipping, walking, napping, everyday. It seems that I have no choice in the matter. When my body says that it is time to nap, I have to take a nap. When my body says it's time to sip, I have to sip. I have been doing better everyday getting in fluids and regaining my strength.

Make room on the losers bench for me too.

Wow. You had a drive-thru VSG. Just 8 hours. That's got to be the fastest that I've seen on this forum. Congrats.

I must admit. My doctor is the greatest and I have put all my confidence in his ability. He perfomed surgery on my mother as well. "Lap Band". To be honest I would not of had any other doctor touch me.
