Advice on how to get meds down

I take a lot of RX meds, and some supplements. Discussed with doc and beloved pharmacist in exchanging size/dose. Surgeon recommends cutting rather than crushing. Ok. 2 supplements are capsules, narrow in diameter but long. I may wait on those. But are they too long for new tummy?

And would you recommend taking each one separately but with some time in between? Just don't want to choke yet get enough water to get that pill down.

Any helpful responses most helpful.

for me..i still have to take one..and then wait about 10 minutes before taking another or I get ill and throw them back up.  I need a bit of water to swallow a pill, and taking one after another is just too much water going down too quickly for me.

I wouldn't worry about the long pill being too long for your new stomach.  Long and narrow shouldn't be difficult at all.

I haven't had to crush or cut or open a single pill; I swallow them all fine, and they cause no issue for me.
