If money was no concern....

....would you have plastic surgery?

Just recently have I given this real consideration.  I have lost over 200 pounds and for the most part, my body has responded well.  My arms are toned and look great, as do my legs.  I only have a little sagging in my stomach, yet my boobs are flat and as saggy as can be!  I can get into size 8 bottoms, but when I do, it seems like it highlights my middle crap.  I do have a saggy butt and excess saddle bags that do annoy me on runs if I wear anything but compression shorts/pants.

I assume I would be a candidate for a LBL to take care of abs and hips...no real desire to get boob job as they can look great in the right bra.

I have 3 consultations set up....but my real struggle lately is do I really need to do this?  The cost isn't an issue...but the fact it is truly a vanity thing and maybe a bit self indulgent..and is it worth the medical risk keep lingering.  I would without question do WLS again and didn't really give it pause when I set that up...but just conflicted on the PS.

Would love to hear if you are having any thoughts about considering PS or if you struggled with any of these sort of thoughts before your PS.  And if you did have PS, would you do it again?

hell, I havent even had the surgery (or the weigt loss-saggy skin) but I can tell you I would for certain get plastic surgery if money was no concern! Then again, my mom has had all her lips plumped and  a face lift so I guess I was raised to think any way to beauify yourself is okay ;)

If cost wasn't an issue I would lift everything on my body that sags, lol.

Yep.... it's one of my "when I hit the lottery" plans..... tummy tuck for sure, probably LBL, boobs, maybe even arms.  BUT, realistically none of the above will probably ever happen.  *sigh*

Yes Stella, I would and DID in fact have an lower body lift and breast lift!  And I'm going back for round 2 pretty soon which will be arms.  Why is it vain to just want to look normal?  Also, having spent so much money, it makes me think twice about what I'm shoving in my mouth.  So, if you can afford it, do it!  I feel great about my body and in no way regret having had plastics.

Hey Jennifer, the pain wasn't bad at all.  I was lucky and because of my many many years of exercising, did not require the muscle repair.  So it really didn't hurt much, just uncomfortable from swelling.  I went to Houston to a post WLS plastic specialist and am glad I did.  There are only a handful of surgeons in the country with the same amount of experience.  I used the guy who used to be on the show Big Medicine.  He was not cheap, but my results are awesome.  The cost for both procedures was a little over 20K...well worth it!

Laura...did you happen to use Dr. Lo?  I go see him next week.   Is he as fabulous as he appears?

Yes I did!  And he is as fab as he appears...even moreso.  The man's got some skillz.  He is well worth the price.
