Is every one using chewable or liquid multivitamins? I've tried the different flavored chewables I received from my doctor but they have been gross. I'm wondering if I could just swallow a pill.
My nutritionist said no gummies. At first they told me children's chewables. But now I'm to take a regular multivitamin with minerals. I don't mind cutting it in half but I end up half taking the nasty chewables. Thanks y'all! I love this forum.

What is the reasoning behind no gummies? Hadn't heard this before and I have been taking them over a year now.
Please go to www.wlsvitagarten.com for info on why gummies/children's chewable vits are NOT adequate for "regular" adults and especially wls post-ops. ~Jennifer
He said they didn't have the mineral content needed. I never checked for myself. They said it was ok prep but not post op. I know each surgeon has their preferences.
I did chewables at first , but then switched to pills just fine.
Some of the bigger ones I had to split in half for a while.
I was taking meds by pill form as soon as I left the hosp.

Oh well, I think I will stick with them at this point because all my labs are stellar with them. I had originally decided to go back to regular vitamins after the initial post surgery period, but now since I look forward to taking them, this helps me to be regular about taking them every day.
