Bathing???

Just wondering when you were told that you could take a bath not just a shower...Totally missing the bath!

At my 1st post-op appt I asked that same question - and my surgeon said NOW!  He advised that 10 days was the norm to wait.  That said, I did NOT have a drain tube as many do (my surgeon doesn't use them).  I was just put back together with internal stiches, glue and steri-strips.

I was able to take a bath at one week out.

Really? At 1 week out they were telling me to try not to let the water run over my incisions too much. I had the internal stitches and the glue stuff over them. Crazy how the drs have different instructions.

I just got cleared today for bath and pool and full exercise during my 1 month post op appt.

When my incisions were completely closed.
