MY life is finally
taking off!
Im down to my halfway point!!! I could cry, it all seems so sureal some days. That I am actually succeeding with the help of my tool.
65ish pounds ago I would have never had the courage to walk into a average store and thumb through the racks.
I would have never had the courage to speak up for myself. BUt thats not what matters anymore what matters is MY life and MY sleeve (her name is Barbra)are putting me back to the happy, outgoing, overacheiver I use to be.
SOme of you might know my husband is Active duty military, well he left Monday for a few weeks of training. Teusday I summed up the courage to dye my hair blonde (epic fail btw its now orange and yellow)Well in the midst of the bleaching process I received a call with a full time job opportunity. I interviewed Wendsday, (with the yellow and orange hair) and I got the call this morning not even 24 hours later that they are offering me the position. In a feild I have no experience in, no education to apply to the job. But they were and I quote "wowed my by confidence in myself"
Its crazy how one decision to loose the weight has changed everything. Ironically my husband is unreachable right now, so hes coming home in a few weeks to a wife obviously a few pounds lighter but blonde(well sorta), and a full time employee as a Credit Specialist.
My sleeve Barbra Has CHANGE my life. My surgeon deserves most of the credit since he shaped her. Truely I would still be on the couch eating cheddder sour cream chips if it were not for him.
The only dellima I have to face now is the price of getting my hair fixed, and new clothes for my new job!!!
Success is right around the corner, Its hard in the begining beleive me I get that. But keep your head high and you will get everything you have ever wanted or needed. Take the chance and step out of your comfort zone you will not regret it!

Congratulations!
I agree with getting your hair taken care of by a professional. Once you've done something hinky with it, only a pro is going to fix it. Been there, done that.
And I'll second briarrose on the pants and tops. I'm really a dress person, but since surgery, I've been living in pants. Black pants are lifesavers!
