Im 3 1/2 weeks out.  Lost 20 the first week and 1/2, then nothing for exactly 2 weeks.  I knew a stall was coming, but it was hard to not see the scale move when I've been struggling so hard with the soft foods.  Last week the nutritionist had me up my protein to 70-80g to see if it would help.

Not to mention it stopped at 300 on the dot.  Not 299...300.

It has seemed like an eternity, I was in a daze that first wk and 1/2, and it's felt like since I've been up and working it, I've had no results.  I haven't felt like a "loser".

Wishing I had measured myself to see if I lost inches because I have definitely felt my body changing.  I feel "squishy" instead of stuffed like a sausage, so I know I'm breaking fat down.

I feel like these 3 lbs are my "first" .  Not losing for 2 of my 3wks out about killed me.

Hooray!

I can see why it would!  But you are doing it, and it will keep working for you.  We will all have stalls and then suddenly lose, and as long as the scale is moving in the right direction, we'll eventually get there.

Go, you!

Thank you. The first week you're barely conscious, but weeks 2 and 3 are tough. You're not in a routine, you dont feel all that great, you cant get the hang of eating and your body doesnt know what is happening...it was hard to go through that and not show an ounce of loss for encouragement.

I'll certainly be better prepared for the next one, but this one sucked'

Yaaaay for you!!!  It was 3 weeks to the day of surgery yesterday, I lost 11 pounds the Tuesday after surgery and nothing until this past Tues about 3 but was so worried I was doing something wrong.  Incisions are healed now so I think I will begin on the stationary bike this week and my aqua aerobics hopefully this will help to jumpstart the weight loss.  Congrats and keep up the great work!!
