VSG on 05/07/12

On Monday May 7th... I got my surgery. I stayed an extra night in the hospital due to a slight fever and just pain...

Im not going to lie.. This has been the most pain ive EVER had... Im almost 5 days post op and its a little bit better.. but omg it was horrible... lol

Hoping i heal fast and get better... I am looking forward to losing the weight.. :)

Surgery day 212
month 1 to 2 i lost 9.6 pounds
month 2 to 3 i lost 7 pounds
month 3 to 4 i lost 6.2

Congrats. We share the same surgery date as I was also sleeved on the 7th and yes, mine was very painful as well. The gas & burping and every thing - very, very painful, no doubt. Wish i was like some of the other post who only had some discomfort and were fine but not our luck I guess. Hang in there. It will get better. Here's to healing fast & losing weight and gaining health :)

It gets better fast...I had mega pain too...I'mpebd feeling like nothing happend at about 3 weeks. Ill pray for a fast recovery

It will get better very soon. Did they take your drain out yet?? Thats when I really started feeling better and better every day. Keep us posted :)

They took out my Drain this morning and i do feel better after that.. but still a lot of pain on the left side... i took a pic of my tummy with the drain out.. will post on my profile soon..
