Good morning friends!! I hope you are having a great day!! I thought it would be nice to exchange some recipe ideas on here!

Bookmarked!

Am wondering how that zucchini spaghetti works. I'd love to try but I fear it would take up too much room in the sleeve and not leave enough room for the protein. Hmmm.

That's EXACTLY why I haven't made it yet!! I am looking up the protein value on MFP right now...

Ok - for 1 cup boiled and skins on and stuff it's only 1 gram of protein :( So I am not gonna try that right now. But she has GREAT dips that are made from FAGE greek yogurt that I LOVE! They make the chicken and all that go down a lot better! And packs on the protein too!!

Also - I have tried this...

http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2012/04/day-i n-my-pouch_14.html

It's her cauliflower pie!! I love it! So did my roommie and 6 year old son!!!

It has:

9 protein and 126 calories if you include the whole slive of provolone!! It's REALLY good and tastes like lasagna!! Only BETTER!!

She has a great stuffed chicken recipe, similar to cordon bleu...

I've tried many things, but the ricotta pancakes are great, my 4 dn 7 year old boys loved them!

I would definitely say the zucchini "pasta" is for longer termed VSGers who are now able to add more then just "protein" to their diet.  I just bought the gizmo to make it and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  I always enjoy making "pasta" sauces and I normally just make them thick to eat like a chili, but now I can top them with this zucchini and OMG I love it!!
