I took the day off work because I had a Dr. appointment (not WLS related) this morning, and my Kaiser options class tonight. Since I had a few hours to kill in between, I went ice skating. Since I've been eating like DH, I have lost 15 pounds. It may not seem like a lot, but I had a much easier time skating today than when I took the grandchildren at Christmas. I was able to skate for 2 1/2 hours with small breaks to re-tie my laces. I haven't  been able to skate for that length of time for years. Oh, as a bonus, the 1st hour, I had the rink to myself. I would have probably tried to stay longer, but several hockey kids wandered in to practice. It's hard to dodge a puck in figure skates

i want to go ice skating with you!!! Sounds like so much fun. Last time i went, I could only  manage 5 minutes at a time before my feet were killing me - i had to take a break every couple laps :-p

That would be lots of fun. Now, we just need to find a centrally located rink.

Have you ever skated before? If not, I better brush up a bit so I can show you (LOL). It could be a fun outing.

Not since my early teens.  I think I'd do ok if I started slow.  No triple toes from me though.

That's awesome!  I know how you feel...I've been doing my 3 month diet and exercise program and have a much higher stamina for exercise.  I'm glad you're doing so well...and 15 # is nothing to sneeze at!  Congrats!!!!

I was just telling Doggz how much I miss ice skating! It's official... I'm going to have to go soon! I haven't skated in several years, but I used to compete when I was a teenager.
